Serenity Practice Terms and Conditions
Clients are to understand that they are embarking on a course of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy from Serenity Practice. That they have certain responsibilities within that course of therapy both to themself and to the therapist in order to maximise the beneficial results.
Clients are required to attend sessions regularly and in a timely manner and to give 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or lose the free for the pre-paid session or pay for the missed session if PAYG.
Clients are required to participate in activities of positivity between sessions as set out by the therapist; and understand that by doing so they will get the optimum benefit from each session.
Clients will have had the process explained to them and understand what is entailed.
Clients will understand that the duration of therapy predicted by the therapist is an estimate and it may take longer than initially planned. They also understand that whilst the therapist has predicted the results based on previous experience, there is no guarantees of the outcome of the therapy.
Clients therefore understand that although their ‘belief’ in their ability to change is not important, and do understand that the success of their treatment is linked to their ‘wanting’ to change and therefore their commitment to the sessions.
Clients’ notes from their session(s) will be held on file for 6 years from the point of completion of their therapy in compliance with GDPR guidelines and for insurance purposes. A copy of these notes may be requested at any point within that time frame. Clients may request them to be amended if they believe something is incorrect.
Clients’ understand that their therapist is required to access regular supervision which means that their case may be discussed either individually or within a confidential group with a trained Hypnotherapy Supervisor. A client’s identity will remain anonymous at all times.
A therapist may break confidentiality if they deem that it is necessary to safeguard either their client or others, or if it prevents a crime from being committed.
Serenity Practice’s therapist is based in the UK and operate under the professional regulations of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, and that these sessions will be conducted in accordance with UL law, which may differ from the legal framework of your country of residence.
Client/therapist and therapist/client respect will be constantly maintained by both parties.
